In Overwatch, the audio positioning is so good that I can identify many incoming threats before I see them with my eyes and also the threat types specifically. Sound-wise, the headset offers great sound quality overall in games and can handle many, different audio cues at once in the midst of frantic battles, plus bring out that game ambience sounds. Changing the foam pads definitely help, but if you like to be immersed in your games, you’ll definitely love it. The “problem” is that the headset has a really good fit (which is great for passive noise isolation) that I sometimes can’t hear my surroundings anymore. I tested the Logitech G PRO X Wireless playing Overwatch and Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War for around two weeks and have a great experience in both games.Ĭomfort wise, I have no issue wearing the headset playing for hours. Logitech G PRO X Wireless Review – Gaming Experience The headset also supports DTS Headphone:X 2.0 simulated surround sound that you can enable/disable. If you need more kicks, you can tweak it through G HUB equaliser. For music listening, the sound is satisfying and it doesn’t over emphasize on the lower end (bass). It’s definitely one of the most advanced customisations ever on a gaming headset.įor more details on the available customisation options, make sure to check out their dedicated page.Īs far as sound quality goes, the G PRO X sounds remarkable for a wireless gaming headset, thanks to the 50mm drivers. However, you’ll lose Blue’s customisation tech through Logitech G HUB. If you are using a Yeti Nano, Elgato Wave:1, or other microphones for streaming or team communication, you can detach the microphone from the PRO X Wireless. Thankfully, the headset can last up to 20 hours and rechargeable via USB-C. Unfortunately, Logitech doesn’t have a 3.5mm option like the Razer BlackShark V2 Pro. The ear cups fully cover my whole ears and offer great passive noise isolation with very comfy memory foam leatherette ear pads. The headset feels light and has the right amount of pressure to the head. I love everything about the headset – its look and feel, its comfort, its controls, and sound quality. The design is pretty much the same as the wired, Logitech G PRO X and that’s okay. Logitech G PRO X Wireless Review – Design & Features I prefer the memory foam leatherette ear pads but you may want to switch them during Summer. Extra memory foam cloth ear pads are included so you can swap them over to your preference.
